Solid Showing For Our Chess Club

Twenty seven LBP students completed in the Waterloo Chess Challenge last week. The Lynx finished in fifth place (out of thirty two schools) in the grade one to six division. Two LBP students finished third and have advanced to the provincial championships. Well Done LBP!

Lynx come up short

In a well fought contest, the boys basketball team fell to the Westheights Warriors 42-31. Congrats on a great season Lynx!

Lynx vs Westheights – Boys Basketball Championships

LBP’s boys basketball team plays for the WRDSB championship Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Game time is 5 pm with the Lynx taking on the Westheights Warriors at Jacob Hespeler S.S. GO LYNX!

Wednesday, February 26th is the day to wear pink!

We are celebrating Pink T-shirt Day – Students are invited to wear a pink shirt to symbolize that we at LBP stand up against bullying.  Two Nova Scotia students started this trend as a way of standing up for a new student in their school who was bullied for wearing a pink t-shirt.
