Lynx vs Westheights – Boys Basketball Championships

LBP’s boys basketball team plays for the WRDSB championship Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Game time is 5 pm with the Lynx taking on the Westheights Warriors at Jacob Hespeler S.S. GO LYNX!

Week of Giving – Days 4 and 5

The piles of food continue to grow as the LBP community supports our drive to raise food and money for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region… Tomorrow we are asking you to donate pasta sauce. Friday: bring a loonie or toonie and donate to the Food Bank.

Wednesday, February 26th is the day to wear pink!

We are celebrating Pink T-shirt Day – Students are invited to wear a pink shirt to symbolize that we at LBP stand up against bullying.  Two Nova Scotia students started this trend as a way of standing up for a new student in their school who was bullied for wearing a pink t-shirt.

Tin Can Tuesday

Don’t forget your tin can of meat or fish today… help us help our community through donations to the Food Bank of the Waterloo Region! LBP’s Week of Giving continues through Friday . Tomorrow’s item is rice or pasta. We will also continue to accept cold cereal and cans of meat/fish throughout the week.

School buses cancelled Friday, Feb. 21st

Due to the current weather, all school buses, taxis and special education routes for the WRDSB are cancelled.  All schools are open with the exception of those dependent on transportation.
