The first day of school, Tuesday September 5^th is coming up fast.  The custodial staff has been cleaning the school to a shine all summer and other school staff are busy getting classrooms set up and ready for the students to come.  We are all looking forward to school starting up once again.

Everyone is excited to find out who their teacher is for the new school year.  We will be posting class lists on the library windows for Grade K-6, and the front Grade 7&8 door by Friday September 1^st at 5pm. You will see that we have some larger classes at some grade levels and we have had a number of new families registering this week.  So all class lists should be considered draft until we hear from the WRDSB usually by mid-September if we are required to reorganize due to changes in enrollment.  Sometimes just a few students moving into Grade 1-3 can pierce the class size cap and force a reorganization.  If we are required  to reorganize this will be shared with the school community.

Save the date:  Meet the Teacher Night and BBQ on Thursday September 14^th.  Our School Council has organized food once again, from 5-7pm, this year catered by Crazy Canuck.  We will be sharing information about preordering of popular combos in School-Day the first week of school.  Classroom visits will be from 6-7pm.  We hope to see you there!
