As you come to the school you may notice that some portables have disappeared.  Portable 7 and 8 were moved due to declining enrollment at the school.  In the last week, we discovered that Portable 5 had developed a leak over the summer.  When WRDSB personnel investigated,  it was determined that it was more cost effective to replace the aging portable than to repair it.  As a result, the portable was demolished on site this week.  The students who would have been in P5 will be in the library until the replacement portable arrives by October.  Mrs. Bettridge , Mme MacKenzie and Miss Hoffman have been flexible and industrious in turning the library into a welcoming classroom space  for the Grade 5 French Immersion class when they arrive on Tuesday morning.
