Keeping our families safe is important to School Council. On Wednesday October 21st, from 6:30-8pm the Health and Wellness Committee is pleased to have two guest speakers addressing safety topics.
Concussions are a hot topic in the media these days. Dr. Marin Duke, is a sports medicine doctor here in KW, and works with the Kitchener Rangers. She will be speaking about concussions, signs, symptoms and management.
Alan Hawes from St. Johns Ambulance KW, will be covering topics including cuts, burns, heat injuries and do a quick review of CPR and AED usage.
There will be supervised entertainment for children of LBP provided in the library, allowing parents and guardians to take time to listen to our great speakers.
