Help us ensure that y(our) children get to and from school safely by following these suggestions when dropping off/picking up along Chesapeake Drive in front of the school.

  • Students should use  the cross walk (regardless of their age) to cross Chesapeake Dr.  There is simply too much traffic to risk crossing between parked cars
  • Please do not park in areas marked with pylons.  Parking in these areas reduces visibility of the cross walk
  • Areas marked with pylons are NOT drop off zones, regardless of stoppages in traffic
  • There is a kiss and drop zone along the parking lot on the east side of the school on Chesapeake for purpose of stopping to let students out.
  • Please, NO U-turns in front of the school, if you need to turn around, drive around the block.
  • A little cold and a little extra walking never hurt anyone, a motor vehicle accident with a pedestrian will.
